Should + have + past participle
This past modal verb is used
hypothetically, to talk about things that didn't really happen in the past. (దీనిని గతంలో జరగని పనుల
గురించి ఊహలను తెలుపుటకు ఉపయోగిస్తాము)

Should
have + past participle can mean something that would have been a good idea, but
that you didn't do it. It's like giving advice about the past when you say it
to someone else, or regretting what you did or didn't do when you're talking
about yourself.
(ఇదొక advice
ఇవ్వడం లాంటిది కానీ జరిగిపోయిన దాని గురించి. ఇలా జరిగి ఉండాల్సింది అని జరగని
దాని గురించి చింతించడం కూడా అవుతుంది.)
Shouldn't
have + past participle mean that something wasn't a good idea, but you did it
anyway. (ఇది negative.
ఇలా జరగకుండా ఉండాల్సింది అని చింతించడం లేదా advice
ఇవ్వడం అవుతుంది.)
v I should have studied harder!
v (నేను బాగా చదవాల్సి వుండెను. కానీ చదవలేదు.
అందుకే fail అయ్యాను
అని అర్థం.)
v I should have gone to bed early!
v (నేను తొందరగా నిద్రపోవాల్సింది. కానీ పోలేదు.
అందుకే అలసిపోయాను అని అర్థం.)
v I shouldn't have eaten so much cake!
v (నేను అంతలా cake తినాల్సింది కాదు. కానీ తిన్నాను. Now I don't feel good.)
v You should have called me when you
arrived!
v (నీవు చేరుకున్న తరువాత నాకు call చేయాల్సివుండెను.
కానీ చేయలేదు.).
v Srujana should have left early, and then she
wouldn't have missed the train.
v (Srujana తొందరగా బయలుదేరాల్సి వుండెను. అట్లయితే train
miss అయ్యేది కాదు.)
2. We can also use should have + past participle to talk
about something that, if everything is normal and okay, we think
it
has already happened. But we're not certain that everything is fine, so we use
'should have'. It's often used with 'by now'. (అంతా
సవ్యంగా ఉండివుంటే ఇప్పటికే ఇలా జరిగి ఉండేది అని తెలుపుటకు కూడా దీనిని
ఉపయోగిస్తాము.)
- The results should have released by now.
- (Results ఇప్పటికే release కావాల్సి వుండెను.)
- Shivani should have finished work by now.
- (Shivani ఇప్పటికే పని పూర్త చేయాల్సి వుండెను.)
